When browsing the landing page report in GA4, you might have come across a blank row – something similar to below:
The landing page dimension in GA4 is a bit quirky in the sense that it seems to remove the ending “/” from the URL values available in the reports.
This means that the blank row is, in fact, showing data for the homepage. You can verify this by adding a secondary dimension called “Landing page + query string”, like below:
Next time you come across a blank value in the landing page report, add the “Landing page + query string” dimension and see what you get.
