Of the people, by the people, for the people

At Indago Digital, our people are at the heart of everything we do. That's why we conduct our annual staff survey – to keep our finger on the pulse of our team's happiness.

Happy employees are the backbone of any thriving business, leading to greater levels of productivity, loyalty and creativity.

Tracking our team's sentiment isn't just a checkbox exercise; it's a vital part of our culture and success. So, if you're not already gauging employee satisfaction, it's high time you start.

eNPS: Finding joy in the job

When employees are satisfied with their jobs, they bring their best selves to work, take fewer sick days, and help drive their company to greater heights.

What is eNPS?

Employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is a popular metric that helps gauge how happy employees are by measuring their willingness to recommend Indago as a great place to work.

It’s broken down into three tiers:

• Promoters (9-10)
• Passives (7-8)
• Detractors (0-6)

The formula is simple: (Number of Promoters — Number of Detractors) / (Number of Respondents) x 100. Scores between 10 and 20 are decent, 20 to 30 are good, and 40 to 50 are stellar.

Our eNPS score

Drumroll, please... our eNPS score this year is an astounding 90!

Having consistently tracked this since 2019, our previous high was 58, which we hit both last year and in 2022.

Blowing past that record has us absolutely over the moon. We’re stoked to see such phenomenal results!

What makes us happy?

To understand the magic behind these high scores, we delved deeper into what makes our team happiest at Indago.

Nearly 80% of our team highlighted “people at work” as their favourite part of working here. This was followed closely by “atmosphere” and “culture”.

Considering the shift from last year's winning category of "leadership", a new theme has emerged – our team truly enjoys spending time together.

While we've always prioritised social events, earlier this year, we made the call to move to a bigger and better office, and clearly the investment has paid off in a big way.

When we asked our team to elaborate, “people” continued to be front and centre.

I think it's the people at Indago that make it such a special place to work at. You can be yourself and no one will judge you. Everyone chips in regardless of their title and is always ready to jump in and help out.

Elima Zhumabaeva, Senior Performance Executive

I think it comes down to the people and the culture. We could be doing the same job anywhere, but Indago have hired well to create a group of fun, knowledgeable, and accepting people that make coming to work easy.

Nat Taylor, Performance Director

Every single person at Indago is so nice. Genuinely the best bunch of people I've ever worked with (or even met). Great training, progression, flexibility, culture, events - 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Staff retention

While high job satisfaction is fantastic, staff loyalty is the true test. High employee retention means we retain valuable experience and save on the cost and time of training new hires.

Are you considering leaving Indago?

We’re delighted to report that 95% of our team have no plans to leave Indago, up from 82% last year.

This is not just a good thing; it’s a great thing! High retention rates signify that our employees are not only happy but also loyal, ensuring that we maintain our strong, cohesive team.

Conclusion

The takeaway from our FY24 Staff Survey? Happiness and loyalty are through the roof at Indago Digital, thanks to our incredible people, vibrant culture, and flexible work environment.

We're immensely proud of these results and committed to maintaining and enhancing what makes Indago a fantastic place to work. Here’s to another year of keeping our team happy and thriving!
