A little bit about a business I have created, loved and hated (mostly loved).
- Launched in June 2014
- Quickest Australian agency to become a Google Partner (greased a few palms on that one)
- Featured on AFR’s Fast Starters and Fast 100 Lists
- Lost 72% of revenue due to COVID (Sucked to be a hospitality & travel-focused agency)
- Conducted pro-bono work for The Mirabel Foundation, Kids Giving Back, The Be Centre Foundation and Surf Life Savers
- Received continuous R&D grants for the development of our shit hot proprietary SEO technology
- Achieved an eNPS of 90 and 9.4 stars our of 10 in our 2024 staff survey
- Have pitched 487 new business opportunities
- Have worked with 195 clients
- Have employed 92 people, 21 of which Indago was their first job
- Acquired in October 2024
Massive Thanks
The management team at Indago want to say thanks to all the people that made this happen.
- The deal team - Ben Fletcher from The Guild Group, Alistair Jaque from Deutsh Miller and a massive shout out to the legend Suesan Truong from Lolly Accounts
- The new owners - Matt Nunn and Nick Lavidge for their faith in us but most importantly to Matt Crook for making this happen. For his fair approach, continuous encouragement, and support
The Plan
Indago Digital has been purchased by Australia’s largest independent media agency, Nunn Media and will be integrated into The Alley Group, Nunn’s existing digital agency. I will become the CEO of Alley AU effective immediately, working with both the local and global leadership team.
There are huge synergies and a lot of mutual respect between the two businesses. On a personal note, I couldn’t be happier to be a part of this team and foresee great things.
The dog and bone.
