Overview – With the release of the new Doctor Who series 8, the BBC wanted to maximise sales around the ‘buzz’ that the new Doctor would create.
Solution – A landing page with links to the App and Play stores was built that contained access to unique video content and campaign specific discounts. This unique content and deals allowed the BBC to stand out from the crowd who were also trying to take advantage of the upcoming series,
Results – As expected Google treated the new landing page and campaign like it would do if it was a brand. The landing page worked worked well and conversions on the App and Play stores were on target.
