Job Description

This is a rare opportunity for an exceptional, self-driven, and tenacious marketing manager, to take on a new challenge and grow our business. You will own all marketing, and as a digital marketing agency we have a broad range of skilled people to help you achieve your KPI’s from paid media specialists through to SEO consultants, account managers and web designers.

Reporting into the CEO this role is a B2B marketing role with a strong alignment with the business development team. You will be in charge of increasing site traffic through SEO, content creation, content distribution, PR and e-mail marketing. As part of your role you will be expected to help convert site traffic into new leads for the business, and work with Business Development to help generate a pipeline of leads and help nurture those leads into customers. You will also be in charge of increasing our social media presence and driving PR opportunities across a number of B2B channels including LinkedIn and trade press.

The role is for 3 days a week, 7.5 hours a day (flexible hours) and a mix of in office and at home working. Salary depends on experience, seniority and skill set.

Responsibilities

Content & CMS

  • Build and manage an editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned assets.
  • Write various types of articles on a wide range of topics for our blog and relevant trade titles.
  • Create content to share across our social channels and regular newsletter, that drive back links for SEO and in turn increase brand awareness.
  • Optimise content for search engines and SEO.
  • Manage the upload of all content via our CMS system.

 

Social

  • Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Google, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success
  • Increase followers and engagement.

E-Mail

  • Optimise our marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Manage various email campaigns, including template designs, calls-to-action, and content.

 

PR & Events

  • Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about company news and other initiatives.
  • Secure speaking spots at industry and relevant events.
  • Collaborate with prominent members of the company, including executives, to craft and pitch press releases and thought leadership columns.

Skills Required

  • Writing and editorial skills with perfect grammar.
  • Organizational skills to work independently and manage projects with many moving parts.
  • Communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use data to inform all decisions.

 

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to leverage opportunities
  • Plan digital marketing campaigns including cohesive web, SEO/SEM, Google Ads, social media, and display advertising

 

Experience Required

  • 4 plus years in a similar role (B2B preferable)
  • Production of various content types
  • Usage of CMS systems
  • Usage of EDM’s technologies
  • Experience with tech / platforms such as;
    • Google Analytics
    • Google Search Console
    • AWR / SME Rush / Buzz Sumo
    • Excel
